All CyclingCeramic balls are meticulously designed in Germany. Each grade 3 Silicon Nitride (Si3n4) ball from CyclingCeramic is precisely matched (within microns) with raceways in hardened steel featuring a perfectly polished groove. Each component is carefully manufactured in Switzerland.
These balls are held in place by a reinforced polyamide cage. Each bearing is optimized with the option to choose grease according to your usage to minimize friction and extend the bearing’s lifespan. Non-contact seals ensure complete protection against dirt and moisture. CyclingCeramic bearings are versatile, suitable for various cycling disciplines: road, gravel, time trial, triathlon, track, cyclo-cross, and mountain biking. They offer benefits such as remarkably low friction, improved power transfer, and increased bearing lifespan.
Throughout the assembly process, we meticulously inspect each bearing by hand to ensure a perfect match of components. CyclingCeramic balls outperform standard steel bearings used in the bike industry, being smoother, harder, and lighter. Compared to other ceramic balls in the industry, CyclingCeramic balls are also harder, withstand higher loads, and are smoother, often surpassing those of Asian manufacture.
